Passau

A beautiful medieval town in Bavaria near the Austrian border, Passau sits at the confluence of three rivers:

the Inn, the Ilz and the Danube which come together to flow east as the Danube, making Passau a favorite stop on river boat cruises to Hungary.

The town was home to the Hitler family in Adolf’s formative years, and later became known as the home of whistle blower, Anna Rosmus, made famous in the Michael Verhoeven movie,The Nasty Girl.
